Scheeleskolan is a middle school with approximately 340 students in grades 7-9. The school is located in the western part of Köping and has a health-oriented focus. Our goal is for students to thrive and develop at Scheeleskolan. We work to ensure that students feel safe, become independent, critical thinkers, and motivated.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a committed teacher in Social Studies and English. The position includes teaching both subjects for grades 7-9 as well as mentoring a group of students.

You will plan, implement, and follow up on your teaching in accordance with the curriculum goals together with your subject colleagues. The role also includes regular documentation, collaboration with student health services, and contact with guardians. You will contribute to the school's safety work and actively participate in the development of the working team and subject group.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed teacher with qualifications to teach Social Studies and/or English in grades 7-9. If you have additional qualifications, you are warmly welcome to indicate this in your application.

You are a clear leader in the classroom, have good collaboration skills, and build relationships with students and colleagues. You are engaged in each student's development, have good digital competence, and translate policy documents into practical teaching.
